4 20 Compliant Beer Review!!! LOL! We owe O’Fallon another review… We were drunk!

At the end of a great night of shows… Why not do a one off review? It seemed like the smart thing to do at the time! That is what we did… Groucho may slur his words while reading the information cards… But you will get the idea. The tone is sooooo subdued that you might suspect that we have other sources of Hemp at TBR studios!

O’Fallon has brewed a unique beer here… Earthy and dark. Its a nice change from the beers we normally see from these guys! Do we know what Hemp tastes like??? Not really. Its kind of hard to seek out in a beer.

Seek it out in the Midwest. See what flavors you pull out of this one. Enjoy some Rainmakers from KC Mo at the end of the show.

Groucho went overseas and brought back some contra-band!  All kinds of beer beverages from a brewery on the island.  Also, we were lucky enough to have a Facebook fan, PJ, send us 3 beers from the Maui Brewing company.  It all adds up to over 2 hours of recorded material.  Fortunately Groucho used a chainsaw and ripped this thing down to about an hour!  You’ll hear lots of pop tops between cuts!

We were drunk….  We should have stopped recording… And drinking….  But we couldn’t!  So, the results are online!

And we spoil ourselves with a Cantillon Vigneronne.  A classic Belgian beer with blends of lambic, fermented with Italian grapes.

Stu and Groucho

Week of the Barrells has been running this week at the Old Chicago locations on Peoria IL. Groucho was fortunate enough to run into Stu from O’Fallon, Mike from Left Hand and Steve King from Specialty Distributing (They help organize the event)

The Peoria Beerfest starts this Friday night and runs through Saturday.  Check it out!  Its a great fest…  The best between Chicago and St. Louis!

Unfortunately… I will not be there filming the event this year.  We, Grouch AND CHUD will be over in Munster IN for the annual celebration that is Dark Lord Day.  Look for film…  And look for Twits from Groucho (thebeerreport) as he brags about whats going on in the line for the best beer in the world!
